Sustainability Report and Benchmarking
Our fourth annual Sustainability Report covers Sensis’ financial, social and environmental performance from 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009.
It summarises our Sustainability Strategy, commitments, performance and impacts relating to our Australian operations. The Finance and Governance section provides an overview and highlights of our international operations.
Basing the report on the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) G3 guidelines allows us to better compare our performance against that of our peers while also identifying key sustainability metrics and issues.
This year for the first time, Sensis’s Sustainability Report has also been independently assured using the AA1000 principles.
We are a member of various industry bodies and benchmarking indices that contribute to strengthening sustainability practices in Australia. These memberships also allow us to measure our sustainability progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
