What are the services?
There are three services that you need to remember.
When you know the name of the person or business and need the number call Telstra Directory Assistance on 1223. If you want connection to a person or business call Call Connect on 12456 (which can also be accessed for a limited time by calling 12455). And when you need more detailed information when you are on the go and information about movies, weather, directions, sports scores and more….call 1234.
Why are we making these changes?
Our aim is to make life simpler. Now it will be easier to find the information you need with just three numbers. You can choose what best suits your information needs.
Do I need to be a Telstra customer?
You can access Telstra Directory Assistance on 1223 or Call Connect on 12456 even if you are not a Telstra customer. If you’re billed by someone other than Telstra, your access to these services and prices for these services may be different. So please contact them for information. You need to be a full service Telstra residential or business customer or Telstra mobile customer to directly access the 1234 service.

What if I just need a number what do I call?
You have two choices if you want a number. If you just need one number you can call Telstra Directory Assistance on 1223 but, remember you can also get more than one number from 1234 and even a number for a business type, like a plumber or hairdresser if you don’t know the name. But if it is connection you are after try Call Connect on 12456 (or for a limited time on 12455).
